Our Vehicles Safety Features
Forum has had many years experience transporting goods for all different Industries which have many different methods for cartage, loading, securing etc. When we discover a new safety item, procedure, equipment that is better or newer then our current methods then we adopted change.
We believe the only way to prevent potential incidents, is to continually adopt change and be safety aware.
Some of the Key features that ALL of our vehicles must comply with:
- Loose Wheel Nut Indicators
- Drop Pins on Trays
- Witches Hats and/or Diamonds
- Recoilless Dogs (Must be tagged)
- Side Steps on Trays
- Chained Headboards on Trailers (To prevent potential braking under emergency braking)
- Gates on High Loads
- Front & Rear Load Boards on specific Vehicles
- SWL on ALL racked utilities (Engineer Approved)
- Chain & Sling Registers

These are just some of the new safety items we have added to our vehicles this year. Of course there are plenty more that include Personal Protection Equipment for all drivers, Educational Training Courses, physical training and Induction programs. If anyone of these work to prevent just one injury or save just one life then it makes it all worth it.
If you'd like to know what other safety features our vehicles have and/or drivers please do not hesitate to contact us.
