Part of our Ocupation Health & Safety responsibilities is ensuring that our drivers and the company comply with Local, State and National legislative requiements.
NHVAS is designed to ensure that all vehicles over 12,000kg GVM are trained in managing fatigue to reduce the possibility of accidents, injury and deaths on our roads. NHVAS is a national program implemented by the Federal Government.
Forum Transport has completed its NHVAS Basic Fatigue Management Accreditation and we are currently in the process of putting ALL of our drivers who driver vehicles over 12,000kg GVM through the Basic Fatigue Management program.
While all of our drivers have always carried and complied with log book completeion and monitoring all drivers hours, by having ALL drivers BFM accredited it will allow our drivers to maximise there driving hours whilst complying with National legislation.
